Community Constructions
A construction side where the construction plan is generated collectively. Everyone can participate and add to the plan or rewrite the ideas. The vision is a self-sufficient place where all living beings share the same rights.
For the performance at the 29th of August 2020 they planned the community construction side of the reconstruction of Frau Geroldsgarten. For two hours the community was interviewed about the necessary constructions that would have to take place. Meanwhile two builders would define the construction spaces with barrier tape and label the soon-to-be construction spaces with signs.
The research project ‘EcoArtLab. Relational Encounters between the Arts and Climate Research’ is a project of the Institute Practices and Theories in the Arts (IPTK) at the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB) in cooperation with the mLAB of the University of Bern, founded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
